Saffron Sunshine & Sweets is the first book from debut author, Rita Zahir. It includes pieces that span her favorite poetry subjects from female empowerment, love, and loss to personal evolution.

The book is built in three sections: Saffron Sunrise, stories of new beginnings and origins; Saffron Sunset, stories of loss and endings; and Saffron Sweets, stories of love of all kinds.
